[SOLVED] Visualization of Multiple Bodies(3D) Generated from
Hi guys. I am using Salome. I would like to ask you for some advices with creating multiple body insertion into Elmer. I am having one smaller box and one bigger box. The are "touching" with one side. It means the face of the bigger box touching the smaller box is only a section of the big...

Re: T gradient error
Dear Anil. Thank you very much for yours patience! After several days I was able to make a simple simulation of steady state heating with boundary dirichlet conditions. I have made several mistakes with creating geometry in Salome and with creating geometry groups in mesh (I have selected all edges ...

Re: T gradient error
Anil, I have made everything you have written. As I understand - I am not going to open the mesh file in ElmerGUI and distinguish edges as "physical" edges? I see in ElmerGUI the mesh like on attached picture - non separated edge. Am I right? I can divide the enge into subedges in EmerGUI ...

Re: T gradient error
annier thank you very much for your answer.. maybe the main problem is that sometimes I am not familiar what is salome doing (better to say - what am I doing with salome). I have created rectangle with point to point, line to line surface. I have also created the geometry groups in geometry section....

[SOLVED]T gradient error
Hi guys. I would like to ask for some advice. I have made simple steady state simulation of heating (rectagle shape). At one boundary it is heated to 60 °C (Dirichlet condition is set to 60 °C). On the second boundary (3 other edges) the boundary condition is set to 20 °C. Postprocessor visualise th...

Re: missing volume
Ok, going back to the premisis, why do you assume you have no bulk elements in the solution? The visualization only shows the surfaces, you need isosurfaces, for example, to visualize the bulk. -Peter With isosurfaces the bulk is visualised. Thanks. I thougth that i can use only clip plane to creat...

Re: missing volume
I've checked that, I've created also volume physical entities. The file is attached.

Re: missing volume
If I did so, will I be able to select and apply equation to bodies? I have bodies in Elmer.raback wrote:Hi
Probably you defined physical entities but only for the boundaries, or then you didn't mesh the 3D volume. Personally I usually prefer to "Save All - ingore physical entities".
