Re: 2d simulation of acoustic wave propagation
1) Unfortunately I cannot reproduce your problem about the missing components with any example I have available. 2) Due to my limited ability to think directly in terms of complex variables I just wanted to recover the problem that should be solved if it were specified as in your sif file and treate...

Re: 2d simulation of acoustic wave propagation
1) I believe the vtu file nevertheless contains component-wise data. Did you select a component which is displayed in Paraview (with the correspondence X = 1, Y = 2)? 2) The time-domain interpretation of your sources seems to be that each transducer produces a source p0 cos(w t + phi) with phi = k y...

Re: 2d simulation of acoustic wave propagation
Hi, If a boundary source is defined by using a Dirichlet condition (the real and imaginary parts of the pressure specified), neither the keyword "Wave Impedance i" nor the keyword "Plane Wave BC" should be used on the same boundary condition definition, since "Wave Impedance...

Re: UMAT and Contact
As it should be possible to have different UMAT models in different parts, a case definition closer to your original one might be obtained by replacing Material 1 section by Material 1 Number of Material Constants = Integer 3 Number of State Variables = Integer 0 ! List material constants as {densit...

Re: UMAT and Contact
The trouble met here is that ElasticSolver cannot yet treat mixed material models where UMAT models are used locally while traditional inbuilt constitutive laws are used elsewhere. Your case might work if you pick a UMAT implementation also for the material law specified in the Material 1 section. T...

Re: Magnetic Force on a Plate
Did you set the force using "Equals" definitions as
Force 1 = Equals "Nodal Force 1"
...
?
Force 1 = Equals "Nodal Force 1"
...
?

Hi,
I noticed a bug in the postprocessing code which is now fixed in the devel version. Could you try with the new version?

Re: Any way t solve EM or MS wave porpagation in ferrites?
Hi,
The current implementation of the electromagnetic wave equation doesn't treat the permeability and permittivity as tensor-valued parameters, so I believe there is no ready Elmer solver for this problem at the moment.

Re: 3D Magnetic field simulation
I don't see anything questionable in the sif file. Could it be that the discontinuity of the magnetization source makes an effect?

Re: 3D Magnetic field simulation
In the Material 2 section, should there be "Relative Permeability = 5000" instead of "Relative Permittivity = 5000"?
