Hi, thanks for the reply and for clarifying the issue with that object file. That explains why the compilation went through even without it. That line was transcribed incorrectly (the line was correct in the file, I've deleted it to try to figure out what's going on, and then added it manually when ...

I am trying to compile Elmer for Windows XP, using mingw 64bit (not the usual mingw32 -- the 32bit version). Everything was going great until compiling libelmersolver.dll (in fem/src).
