Hi akirahinoshiro, i cannot not view your geometry file in Salome 5.1.3. i could just see the procedure menu in the left side of it and when i try to clicke them it does not proceed to show the geometry. i have one question. I suppose your geometry is in 3D. Did you explode your individual partition...

i replaced the SOLVER.KEYWORDS with another SOLVER.KEYWORDS file containing these keywords and it worked.

Is it something that axisymmetry in a geometry simulated in cartesian coordinates can be defined in boundary conditions by setting variables such as velocity = 0, displacement = 0 perpendicular to the corresponding edge (2D).

If we are constructing the geometry within Salome, it can be quite practical when we assume that Salome just uses the length values and not the units . the consideration of units will be helpful to us for the context when we construct/draw geometry outside Salome i.e. in another CAD software ...

If we want to perform finite element analysis on symmetrical geometry and if the solver works on cartesian coordinates, how do we define that the geometry is symmetrical about a given axis or set of axes?
