Variable boundary condition execution

To whom it may concern I have a problem with a variable boundary condition. In my modeling, the variable boundary condition of Heat Flux and Pressure didn't execute. I write the SIF file for your reference. I would be pleased if you kindly help me. Header CHECK KEYWORDS Warn Mesh DB "." &q...

Re: Order of Solver Execution for Coupled Solvers

Hi Peter.
Thank you for your response. I did the same and put number 2 in priority item for the Heat equation and number 1 for the Navier equation. But it didn't work. What should I do now?
Sincerely,
Armaghan

Order of Solver Execution for Coupled Solvers

To whom it may concern I have a question regarding the way I should use the priority icon in the equation part. I want to add temperature and heat flux parameters and get the velocity and pressure parameters. But the problem is that the Navier equation doesn't work. I think that it may because of th...

Re: Internal boundary

I think there is a difference between the velocity of vapor and solid because of the low density of vapor in comparison to solid. If I add phase change in the boundary condition, I need to calculate the velocity and I don't know which latent heat I have to consider for the interface between solid an...

Re: Internal boundary

thank you for your reply.
you mean it isn't different to put latent heat of solid or vapor in boundary condition in the interface of vapor and solid?
Thank you

Elmer+Paraview

Hello I have a problem with Paraview. I used the Elmer program for modeling the geometry of a cylinder that has an empty tube inside that. It seems that In Paraview , the velocity distribution inside the empty tube doesn't work. I expect to see higher velocity inside the tube that the bottom and top...

Re: Internal boundary

Thank you for your response. I have one more question about my modeling. I want to use latent Heat as a boundary condition in the interface of solid and vapor. I read the tutorial and I found that the latent heat as a boundary condition in the interface between liquid and solid. In this case because...

Internal boundary

Hello I have a problem with defining boundary conditions in Elmer. I made a Geometry with Salome and I meshed it in the Salome. I defined faces and Solids as a boundary and bodies. I drew the tube inside the cylinder and I had a problem in defining the boundary condition of the tube inside the cylin...

Re: Error of Bad real number in item 1 of list input

Dear Kevin Thank you for your response. I used windows 7 (64bit) and I downloaded Elmer from this https://sourceforge.net/projects/elmerfem/files/WindowsBinaries/Win64InstallerMPI/ElmerFEM-gui-mpi-Windows-AMD64.exe/download. Do you mean that I use other sources instead of ElmerGUI? I am wondering if...

Re: Error of Bad real number in item 1 of list input

Hi Peter
I didn't get your point. I fixed the the problem of quotation mark that Kevin mentioned before. Would you please tell me more about your point of view?
