Re: Periodic BC for 3D stator
Hi, Thanks for the prompt answer ! Indeed, I removed the 'Piola transform' line, I didn't affect the solution anyway. It looks like a bad convergence indeed as the linear solver goes until the max number of iterations is reached so the convergence criterion is never met... Moreover, the results look...

Periodic BC for 3D stator
Hello, I'm trying to model a stator winding in 3D in magnetostatic. I'm using the static current solver to first obtain the source current in the winding and then, obtain the magnetic vector potential and flux density. I want to use antiperiodic boundary conditions using Mortar projectors as recomme...

Re: Neumann BC with Static Current Solver
Indeed,
Quick, but good guess !
The results look decent by imposing the potential value on one of the boundaries only.
Thanks a lot for the quick reply by the way.

Neumann BC with Static Current Solver
Hi, I'm currently trying to model the stator of a motor but I have some trouble to apply the current density in the conducting part. To simplify the situation as much as possible, I only consider one phase in static configuration. Everything is linear. I'm using the StatCurrentSolver to simulate the...

Hi,
Thank you very much for the prompt answer !
I think I got it.

Anti periodic boundary conditions with Elmer
Hi, I'm currently trying to run a very simple model of an electrical machine stator using Elmer. As I'm completely new, I'm trying to make myself easier with the functionalities. So I chose a very basic electrical machine geometry in which I forget about the rotor. A constant excitation current is a...
