Re: No rule to make target '/msys64/mingw64/lib/libqwt-qt5.dll.a'
Hmm I would be surprised if the file separator is the issue... Windows is pretty ambiguous to that sort of thing nowadays. And MSYS runs in a Unix-like environment anyway right? And I was able to run through 99.9% of the rest of the build without issues from the other packages, and those aren't spec...

Yeah I just mean that it is in fact installed in C:/msys64/mingw64/include/qwt-qt5/.
So yes that directory brings up all the files I believe should be in there and found.

No rule to make target '/msys64/mingw64/lib/libqwt-qt5.dll.a'
Hi, I'm trying to compile the latest dev version of ElmerGUI on Windows. I've gone through all the steps in the readme (a couple times): Windows Install MSYS from https://www.msys2.org/ Launch MSYS via the "MSYS2 MinGW x64" shortcut. Download fresh MSYS package databases and upgrade instal...

Open and closed coils in one MagDyn model
I'm trying to model the interaction between a electromagnet and a straight wire, both with current running through it. I'm finding that I can't seem to use two individual CoilSolver solvers in a single model, one which could be applied with the "Coil Closed = True" tag and one without (not...

Re: Using Component keywords
this one prints out the sum of the nodal forces as the total force of the body I've added that Solver snippet but now I'm just trying to understand the meaning of the output. I've gotten the forces.dat file, but I'm not sure of how the data is formatted. I would have expected a 1x3 vector of Fx, Fy...

Using Component keywords
I'm trying to extract the magnetic forces between an electromagnet and an iron plate in a 3D steady state MgDyn problem. I've seen a few mentions to the 'Component' keyword but found it to be poorly documented in the sense of how to actually use it to obtain the desired results. My question is essen...
