Basic operations in Elmer

Hello, In my experience with Elmer I have seen very powerful functionalities on the simulation of physical systems. I wonder how to make basic operations as addition, sustraction, multiplication, division and derivatives. What I have seen in several simulations is that there are several modules alre...

Calculation of Magnetic Force in 3D simulation

Hello, I'm working on the 3D simulation of an electromagnetic system in which there is a coil and a permanent magnet. The coil has a current density and it produces a magnetic field; this field acts in such a way that it exerts a force on the permanent magnet. I want to calculate the force that the ...

How to extract values of real MATC function

Hello, I'm studying the .SIF file of a PMSM (permanent magnet synchronous machine), that is a motor of a fan. In the model there are 4 permanent magnets and each of them have a time-depending magnetization. I want to extract the values of the Magnetization 1 and 2 in a .dat file, which are the x and...

HELP, SIMULATION IN ELMER MULTIPHYSICAL

Hello,

I need to simulate a soft ferromagnetic material and a coil for magnetic levitation by attraction using ELMER, but I don't know how to do this and I haven't found papers about it.
I would be grateful if anyone can give me bibliography or can help me about this.

Thank you very much in advance.
