Include material properties using .txt file
Hi, I am doing PMSM motor simulation using ELMER but having difficulty in defining the material properties. I want to define material properties using .txt file. I have got values of the BH curve (for iron). How can I use the data file (BH.txt) to define the BH curve of Iron. Any suggestion/help mos...

Re: magnetic field induced by harmonic current in a wire
Hi Peter, I downloaded updated file for tutorial 7 (Magnetic field induced by harmonic current in a wire) *.sif file from link https://code.it4i.cz/mec059/elmer/blob/13e32a6a17b9a9d4719bcb09546d01007cffebbb/fem/tests/mgdyn_harmonic_wire/case.sif Is it the updated files as you said. I am able to get ...

Re: ERROR:: AddEquationSolution: > MG Levels < must be defined for geometric multigrid
Hi Peter, All files attached here, did not change anything, I load the project and run it. all files are downloaded from the "ThermalFlowInCurvedPipe" or the link where you have uploaded course material "https://www.csc.fi/web/training/-/elmerfem_may2018". Zip file includes the s...

Re: magnetic field induced by harmonic current in a wire
Hi Tobya,
You can compare my sif file already attached in my previous post and compare your file. Or post your .sif file.
Let me know if you get any difference.

Re: magnetic field induced by harmonic current in a wire
Hi Matthias, Thank for your reply. You are right about voltage as boundary condition. I followed the tutorial its about potential difference of 1V/M over the wire and wanted to know the magnetic field strength around the wire. So the boundary condition is correct. It is possible that i am not using ...

Re: magnetic field induced by harmonic current in a wire
Hello Peter, I appreciate your response but something is wrong at my side. I ran this model many times and always have same results. when I post the .vtu file in paraview for post processing, It shows magnetic field value range as 0 to 1e-38. Joule heating range as 0 to 1e-38 and voltage as 0.01 vol...
