Re: Heat simulation mesh lvl3 cylinder shape issue
Hi raback, Good day. in the simulation, all the setting and parameters are the same, the only diff in mesh lvl. cylinder- the highest temperature observed from lvl 1 and 2 are 69.3 and 69.4 respectively. But the for lvl3 is 67.4, the change is 2 degree diff from lvl2 a box on a square heat sink also...

Re: Heat simulation mesh lvl3 cylinder shape issue
Hi dmitry,
I wish to upload the attachment here, but the mesh file size has exceeds the maximum allowed upload size.
Is there any ways for me to send you the file?
Thank you.

Heat simulation mesh lvl3 cylinder shape issue
Hi. A box defined as heat source was placed on a cylinder shape heat sink Only heat equation is applied, the material and boundary condition were defined properly The simulation result was frustrated when increases the Mesh level to 3! Capture.PNG Is this the solver problem? because this does not ha...

Re: simulation environment construction
Thank Matthias & Anil Kunwar. i have constructed 1/4 of model and meshed. i define material for the big box as *air(room temperature), heat object is *copper i only define the heat object that contact to big box *air by boundary condition, correct? is that correct to mesh the big box*air(room te...

Re: simulation environment construction
Thank Campo, but, the link you attached does no address my problem directly. to make my problem clear: a 1cm cube object is heated and place in the center of a closed 1m cube container. only air inside the container. if i want to determine the temperature 1cm above the heated object in the 1m cube c...

simulation environment construction
Hi, I have used Elmer for heat study on a solid object previously. In order to observe the ambient temperature change, I would proceed to convection. My problem is how to define the environment? Example 1mx1mx1m box, the solid object is in the middle Or, I should construct and mesh the box in Salome...

Re: LED thermal simulation
hi.
I am looking for the feedback
I had gone through the Model "Linear Elasticity Solver".
Is there any others user manual for me to refer?
Thank you

p = F / A = 2000N / (0.05m x 0.1m) = 400,000 N/m^2
