statcurrent benchmark problem

Hello, Just trying to do a very simple static current conduction problem to make sure I have things working properly, but I'm not getting quite what I expect. I have a rectangular copper bar with dimensions of 1"x1"x6" and want to calculate the voltage drop when 1.0 amps of current is...

Re: Reactive transport problems

Hello,
Any chance you can post (or provide a link to) a simple example showing how to use multiple instances of the advection-diffusion (or any other) solver? I tried but kept getting error messages regarding bad input specifiers in the boundary conditions
Cheers,
Steve

multi-species

It would be extremely useful if a simulation could include more than one species. Does anyone know if there is a way to do this in Elmer, or if not, are there any plans to add such functionality in a future release? Thanks in advance for any comments.
Best,
Steve

StatCurrent Boundary Conditions

Hello, Does anyone know if it is possible to specify Neumann conditions for the potential (rather than for the current) when using the StatCurrent module? I would like to be able to say that, at the boundary, the derivative of potential is given by an arbitrary MATC function. Many thanks for any sug...

Re: ElmerGUI feature request: multi-species advection-diffusion

Just wanted to second this request. The capability of handling multiple species would make Elmer much more useful to me. I believe I'd have to use Comsol to handle that currently (at least, in an nice graphical multiphysics environment), but can't afford that software and generally prefer to use ope...
