Re: 3d beam interaction with fluid

The results are in the sign (where it is posititve it should be negative) inverted.

3d beam interaction with fluid

the example shows the interaction of a linear elastic 3d beam in a fluid. Stress and displacements in the beam are calculated from the pressure of the fluid as load case on the beam. The grid is rude, but its just for fast calculation of this example :-) Small displacements are assumed (1. order ela...

Re: interaction pressure navier stokes and a elastic structure

think I found out. I just have to put

Boundary Condition 4
Target Boundaries(1) = 63
Name = "inter"
Force 1 = Equals Pressure
Force 3 = Equals Pressure
Force 2 = Equals Pressure
Noslip wall BC = True
End

interaction pressure navier stokes and a elastic structure

Hello to everyone :-) I'm wondering if it is possible to use the calculated pressure as a load on a elastic beam. The elastic beam has no slip walls. I assume small displacements (1. order theory) and my target is to get the stresses in the beam resulting from the pressure as load. I thought about a...

Re: Rotating symmetric 3d system Navier Stokes

Thank You very much for Your fast response :-) I know that the mesh is rude :-) I have also a fine mesh of all. As long that i don't have the right sif file i wanted to make the test for geting in rotation on a smaller mesh. I will look at the example hoping to come out :-) You did a great programm ...

Rotating symmetric 3d system Navier Stokes

Hi to everyone :-) I have a 3d system composed of a tube with inside a body and turbine blades. All the system is rotationsymmetric allong the y-axis. I defined a inlet of airstream with -2m/s in y direction, an outlet with no boudary conditions and a boundary condition with non slip walls. I would ...
