model coupling
Hi, I would like to couple a one phase multi dimensional model with a 1D multi-phase model; the heat being the only variable of concern. The two models are implemented using Elmer. At a first glance, the simplest way to simulate it, would be to use the heat field issued from my two phase simulation ...

Re: matc and new function
Hi Peter,
Thank you for your help. In your comment, I am reading one of my interrogations about the way I used ListGetReal. I decided to reprogram the evaluation of the
"earthTemp" variable without using ListGetReal and it works fine.
Regards
Alain

Re: matc and new function
Thank you for your answer, but the segmentationfault is coming from the line of code: earthTemp(1:elementNbOfNodes) = ListGetReal(Material,'earthTemperature', elementNbOfNodes, NodeIndexes) In that line, I am using ListGetReal and not ListGetCReal. Without that line of code, and replacing it, my hea...

Makefile of the modules directory
Hi, I would like to build up a library made of .o objects contained in the elmerfem/trunk/fem/src/modules and in the elmerfem/trunk/fem/src directory. My problem is that within the modules directory, object files are removed while running the Makefile. I don't find the line to comment within the Mak...

Hi, I was using Elmer 5.4.1 version and now I want to upgrade to Elmer 6.1. I have two questions about the upgrading. Having written new modules within 5.4.1 and modified some ones, what is the best way to proceed to upgrade these modules? Is there a short description of structures modifications som...
