Re: density of material problem NS
Thanks for your answer. Now, I understand. For almost a year, I have thought that the only way to do a flow simulation in elmer is in a transient state. Then, I've finally got to one problem in which I could run a simulation in a steady and in a transient state and got the same results! It took me a...

density of material problem NS
Hello, I have a strange problem. I have done some simulations of temperature and velocity field for air and water. For air, there is no problem at all. But Elmer can't give me any solution when I increase a density of material for an object in which I run flow simulations. I have tried to create a m...

Re: problems with "StatMagSolve"
Hello
I have another question. Is there any possibility to compute current from StatMagSolve module results? Maybe I could use StatCurrentSolver? I would like to know what current density i have in my object.
Regards
DK

Re: problems with "StatMagSolve"
Hello, Thanks for answer. I use the "angular frequency" statement in Solver section. The "Frequency" do not work for StatMagSolve. I suppose that wrong value of permeability is the reason of wrong results. That value I have found is = 0,404. When the newer version for windows cou...

problems with "StatMagSolve"
Hello Recently, I have been doing some electromagnetic calculations. I was going to write an article. I used Elmer for heat computations. But when I tried to do some tests, Elmer gave me strange results. I want to check if the joule heat is changing correctly with a depth. But to my surprise, it doe...

Temperature controler
Hi All, I would like to create a temperature controler algorithm using matc. I know that when i use: Heat Source = Variable Time,Temperature matc "a=tx(0)/okres-floor(tx(0)/okres);if ( a >0 & a<0.23 & tx(0)<6*3600 & tx(1)<temp_poczatkowa+12.10 ) moc; else 0;" it use time as var...

Re: SaveData
Hi
No problem. If you ever want some other script just ask me. If I would have enough time, I try.
Try also this second script Elmer_ep.py!

Re: SaveData
Hi I'm terrible sorry. I have checked this script, and it works good for me. Why? Because I'm using linux, and never test it under windows. There is one line which gives error. I forget to remove this line. When you run this script under windows this line search for a removed procedure. In linux thi...
